By using Swing & Shuffle, you agree to uphold the following standards:
1. Community First
This is not just a marketplace—it is a community.
Every interaction should reflect care, respect, and integrity. Whether you are hosting or staying, you are contributing to a shared environment built on mutual trust.
2. Verified & Accountable Community
Trust is built through transparency and shared responsibility.
ID Verification: All users are required to verify their identity through our secure partner, Stripe. This helps ensure that every member is a real, accountable individual.
Mutual References: After each stay, both hosts and guests are expected to leave honest, respectful reviews. These references help maintain a transparent and trustworthy community.
Reputation Matters: Your behavior on the platform directly impacts your ability to continue participating. Consistently negative feedback, reports, or violations of this code may result in restricted access, suspension, or permanent removal.
This system exists to protect everyone—and to reward those who contribute positively to the community.
3. Respect & Clear Communication
Communicate openly, honestly, and respectfully at all times
Honor agreements made between hosts and guests (dates, expectations, boundaries)
Respond in a timely manner when coordinating stays
Misleading information, repeated cancellations without valid reason, or disrespectful communication may result in account review.
4. Personal Boundaries & Consent
Always respect personal space, privacy, and individual boundaries
No form of harassment, unwanted advances, or pressure will be tolerated
Consent must be clear, ongoing, and respected in all interactions
This applies both online and in-person.
5. Safety & Responsibility
Hosts must provide a safe, clean, and accurately represented space
Guests must respect the host’s home, rules, and belongings
Both parties are responsible for their own well-being and decision-making
If something feels unsafe or misaligned, you are encouraged to decline or leave the situation.
6. Zero Tolerance for Harmful Behavior
The following behaviors will result in immediate suspension or permanent removal:
Harassment, discrimination, or hate speech
Sexual misconduct or coercion
Theft, property damage, or exploitation
Any behavior that puts another member’s safety at risk
We take all reports seriously and will act accordingly.
7. Accountability & Reporting
If an issue arises:
Report concerns through the platform as soon as possible
Provide honest and accurate information
Respect the review process
Our goal is to protect the integrity of the community—not assign blame, but ensure safety and fairness.

Swing & Shuffle is built on the belief that dancers can create safe, welcoming spaces for one another around the world. This only works when we collectively uphold that standard. If you cannot commit to these principles, this platform may not be the right fit.
